If you already don’t know, one of my biggest forms of inspiration for creating art is Porter Robinson and his otherworldly world, glitch art, and naturalistic vision.<\/p>\n

This past weekend he had his online festival, Secret Sky 2021. And just a few<\/p>\n

days prior, he released his album Nurture. It was a very impactful and emotional weekend for me, as it took him almost 7 years before he released another album.<\/p>\n

So I thought it was fitting to make my first “official” blog post about one of my favorite artists. Thank you Porter for doing what you do, and having such a huge impact in my life.<\/p>\n

If you have not already, I highly suggest you listen to his newest album, NUTURE! Listen deeply to the lyrics and you can feel the frustration and struggle that comes with being an artist. You will also gain the perspective of having to one up your previous world and the stress with feeling like your next piece is not going to be as good enough as your last……<\/p>\n

P.S. the logo… was a collaborative effort between myself, my friend and the artist who designed Porter’s Worlds Album art. *fun fact* <3<\/p>\n
